Estabrook Park spans an impressive one-hundred twenty-four acres on the border of Shorewood and Whitefish Bay. With an eighteen-hole disc golf course and a legendary do-it-yourself skatepark, Estabrook Park has plenty of activities to keep you busy. Estabrook’s Dog Park is three acres in size and is entirely fenced in, so you don’t have to worry about your pooch taking off with the wrong people. Close by to the dog park is the Estabrook Beer Garden. You and your pup can enjoy a brew before or after you socialize with your friends at the dog park. Stop down and get it in on the fun!

The park is completely fenced in to keep dogs from running out into the streets. Free street parking is available along the previously mentioned roads that border Rover West Dog Park.

Marshall Park

Milwaukee, WI 53202
5am-10pm, daily

Marshall Park flies under the radar of the Milwaukee County Park System. While not technically a park, it is more of a courtyard next to an apartment building. Kelly Harrold has informed Google with her review stating, “the fence is open on all sides, and dogs are instructed to be leashed at all times.” With no given address, the surrounding streets are Lyon, Cass, Marshall, and Ogden down on the Southside. It is usually populated between noon and six o’clock at night, however, the “park” is open at five in the morning and doesn’t close until ten at night. Whether you want to hang outside, people watch, grill out with some friends, or bring your dog for a playdate, Marshall Park is one of Milwaukee’s best-kept secrets. Just watch out for the player-haters like Kelly Harrold when you let your dog off the leash!

Currie Dog Park

Over on Milwaukee’s Northwest, Currie Dog Park is tucked between Capitol Drive and Mayfair Road. Near Currie golf course, Currie Dog Park has a fully enclosed fence that spreads ten acres for large dogs and an acre and a half of fenced-in space for small dogs. With convenient parking, your dog will love the hills and the wooded areas to run around. Be sure to bring a dog bowl and water for your pooch, not to mention some plastic bags so you can be a responsible dog owner.

Runway Dog Park

1214 E Rawson Ave, Oak Creek, WI 53154
5am-10pm, daily
414.257.7275
County.milwaukee.gov

Just South of General Mitchell International Airport and Milwaukee Area Technical College Oak Creek Campus, Runway Dog Park is just on the opposite side of Oak Street from the Cudahy Nature Preserve. Milwaukee’s most expansive off-leash dog park provides twenty-six acres of fenced-in space for your pup to run free! The wood-chip trails allow for low-impact to keep your dog’s joints and cartilage from pain and compression. A covered pavilion with picnic tables makes it easy to wait out the weather in case of any unforeseen rain. Additionally, Runway Dog Park has agility equipment to burn off your dog’s nervous energy. Have your pooch navigate the A-frame, adjustable tire jump, and hound hoops to get them ready for their next competition or dog show…or just because it’s fun.
